Iceland - Beyond Guarantees - Nikola Kutějová
Kód: 37426Detailní popis produktu
Is working as a tour guide in Iceland a dream come true? In reality, it is more a question of whether your coach breaks down before your nerves do, whether the coolant disappears before you can say “quidditch”, how long you can keep driving through a storm that seems determined to sweep you off the road like a chess piece from a board, whether you can deal with the completely unexpected while mentally planning your own funeral, and just how convincingly you can assure people that everything is under control.
Spoiler: most of the time, it isn't.
These are not heroic tales. They are stories of what happens when something fails - the vehicle, the weather, or simply human beings - and your only option is to carry on.
With a smile.
Or at least with a very convincing imitation of one.
